Deep Generative Networks as Inverse Problems

 Great lecture by Stephane Mallat on 'Deep Generative Networks as Inverse Problems'.  He analyses several approaches to generative modeling, deconstructs them, then reformulates the entire problem as an inverse problem using scattering wavelets.
